My Town Pictures is proud to announce the debut of our
Short Films Collection.    Beginning in the summer of 2009,
My Town Pictures will not only produce its feature-length
films, but will also feature short films which will be
available online as well as on DVD.

Here's what you'll see right now:

"Letter for Dad"  -  A hallmark-style drama between a
mother and a daughter starring Sondra Ward and Rachel
Hovey.   A heartwarming story that has already received
excellent reviews online.

"The Nine-Thirty"  -  A comedy about a doctor/client
appointment at a psychiatric halfway house.   Features
Emily Schweitz and Matt Eastvold.   This one premieres
before a live audience Friday August 28th at the Short
Comedy Film and Animation Film Festival at the Rogue
Buddha Art Gallery in Minneapolis, 8:00pm.   Free
admission!

"Scenic Route" - a comedy/drama about what you might
find if you have to ask directions in a rural midwest
farming community.   Features acclaimed author Michael
Perry, as well as Michelle Meyer and Billy Krause.

"
Lydia and Otto" - a comedy about a most peculiar
homecoming conversation among lovers at a 1940's train
depot.   This was written by Wes Worthing and features
Jessie Fullerton and Joshua Keller.

"
Nothing"  - a satire on a young woman who finds herself
locked out of all of her social networking sites on morning
and declares herself "dead" to the cyberworld!   This one
features Carsha Meyer.
